Requirements
A High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Familiar with a personal computer
and at ease with working in a Windows
environment. Skill set should include
detail oriented and well organized.
APICS certification or exposure to
the body of knowledge is a plus.
Responsibilities
- * Receive customer orders and
input them into the system after
analyzing dates and quantities and
their affect on the manufacturing
facility.
- Run capacity schedules and move
jobs as warranted.
- Release travelers to manufacturing
within the prescribed guideline.
- Work with the estimator on price/quantity/routing
issues.
- Interface with shipping and the
expeditors to ensure that the right
products ship on time.
- Update JobBoss with the stock
quantities and allocate as required.
- Act as a liaison between manufacturing
and the customer on any delivery
problems.
- Prepare and distribute reports
on jobs or material issues.
