State Senator Sheila Harsdorf and State Representative John Murtha Visit OEM
State Senator Sheila Harsdorf and State Representative John Murtha will visit OEM Thursday, July 24th. The Senator and State Representative will tour the facility with Mark Tyler, President of OEM. Mark Tyler has arranged this type of visit in the past as an effort to provide employees the opportunity to get to know their state representatives, learn more about government processes, and offer them an opportunity to ask questions. The focus of this visit by our Representatives is economic growth and by visiting OEM, they gain more information about industry within our community. Following the tour, the Representatives will speak to all OEM team members and then offer a question and answer period.

Neillsville Facility Celebrates One Year
OEM Fabricators, Inc. celebrates its one-year anniversary at the Neillsville facility. OEM expanded its operations to this add this additional facility on April 16th, 2007.
OEM employed 50 team members on the Neillsville grand opening in 2007. OEM currently employs 106 team members on two shifts with a weekend 3rd shift having started May 4, 2008. During the past year, OEM expanded its community-oriented focus in the Neillsville area through numerous family and community enhancing initiatives; including food and winter clothing drives. OEM also supports metals classes in area high schools by donating steel.
Since the open house in August 2007, OEM expanded its capabilities by adding over $4 million in new equipment including a Mazak 3-D laser, three Toshiba horizontal milling centers and a heat treat oven. OEM has been adding new customers, which brings on new products and industries served. OEM actively recruits highly skilled team members in welding and CNC machining.
