Requirements
A High School Diploma or Equivalent
preferred. Minimum of one (1) year
related schooling or two (2) years
machining experience or any combination
of schooling and/or experience that
equals twelve (12) months.
Responsibilities
- Set up and run multiple machines
including mills, lathes & drills.
- Analyze drawings and specifications
to determine most efficient set-up
and use of tools.
- Program using machine language
the tool path a tool changes.
- Sharpen tools or select and change
inserts.
- Verify that machined parts are
within drawing specifications.
- Maintain records of set-ups.
- Work with Estimators and Supervisor
on problem parts.
