Requirements

A High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred. Minimum of one (1) year related schooling or two (2) years machining experience or any combination of schooling and/or experience that equals twelve (12) months.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run multiple machines including mills, lathes & drills.
• Analyze drawings and specifications to determine most efficient set-up and use of tools.
• Program using machine language the tool path a tool changes.
• Sharpen tools or select and change inserts.
• Verify that machined parts are within drawing specifications.
• Maintain records of set-ups.
• Work with Estimators and Supervisor on problem parts.
