Requirements

A High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred. Minimum of one (1) year related schooling or two (2) years inspection experience or any combination of schooling and/or experience that equals twelve (12) months.

Responsibilities

• Organize product in assigned work area or other work areas using forklift, hoist or manual lifting.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Set up inspection with proper tools, equipment and specifications.
• Record and document inspection results as required by customer or company purchase order or specification.
• Alert supervisor when non-conformance is identified and/or performs as directed.
• Plans inspection procedures. May be required to devise unusual measuring or gauging setups.
• Determines reasons for defects. Assists production in correction of process or defect.
